Established in 2005, Wildcats Chorus is part of an excellent Fine Arts program at
Mountain View High School. Composed of six ensembles, supplemented by various
after-school groups, the choir has performed in a variety of venues. The choirs
have traveled to and performed in New York City, Chicago and Disney World. They
have also performed at a variety of places in the community, including the
Fredericksburg Candlelight Tour and the
VRE Santa Train. They have performed at
a choir invitational at VCU and were part of a joint performance of John Rutter's
Magnificat at Randolph-Macon College. The students consistently perform well at
District and State level events, and the Madrigals choir has received Superior
ratings at District Assessments every year since the school opened. With a talented
and diverse program, it is no wonder that MVHS has achieved Blue Ribbon Status
nearly every year since it opened. Come join us for a concert, and see what all
the excitement is about!
